Alma Boqueron is a band from the heart of Gracia (Barcelona). Formed by musicians who come from many different styles like rumba, folk, tango, pop, flamenco or country. Unfiltered and raw with roots in the neighborhood they don’t believe in barriers or have any prejudice when combining all these elements in their songs and merging these genres. That’s why their music sounds fresh, it smells like street rumba, taverns or the Raspall Square (rumbera mythical town square), but with nuances and varnished with chords, choruses and sounds across the Atlantic Ocean.
All this added to smart and humor impregnated lyrics, melodies with hook and points of tenderness describing their own way of understanding life, love and the small accidents in everyday life.
The band has released two albums “Guitarrazos de Sobremesa” (2014) and “Raspall-Caracas” (2016), recorded by Roger Rodés at Medusa Studios.
The band has a very important presence at the stable programming in venues all through the city and around Catallonia Alma de Boqueron concerts are pure energy and a constant party, a shocking live show that will have everyone smiling and dancing. They are currently preparing surprises for 2017
