AupaPau is a charity festival born in 2010 in Badalona intended to gather food for people on the 4th world engaging the citizens and public entities to participate in a solidarity action from the context of culture. AUPAPAU works with the city canteens and the Barcelona Food Bank.
The festival has grown gradually year after year during the four editions. It is declared totally apolitical and with a clear concept: to participate in all activities the only currency is food. People donate food to enjoy the concerts and activities of the day, which are many and varied.
In the morning and afternoon, in the heart of the city, you can find inflatables for children, concerts, awareness workshops, and top level theatrical and musical performances.
In previous years artists like Andrea Motis & Joan Chamorro, Jolly Jumper, Sant Andreu Jazz Band, Ruben Pozo (Sloth), Cargolé, Pau Riba, Tomas Molina, Xavi Lozano or Enma Lewis, among others have attended the festival.
